VERTICES PARTNERS, Bharucha act on Marico's ₹225 crore majority stake acquisition in Cosmix

Marico Limited has acquired a majority stake of 60% in Cosmix Wellness Limited for ₹225 crore.

VERTICES PARTNERS advised Marico on this transaction.

The transaction was led by Vinayak Burman (Founder and Managing Partner) and Vikrant Anand (Partner), along with a team that included Nisha Dharod (Associate Manager), Nishtha Khandelwal (Associate Manager) and Stuti Jain (Associate).

Bharucha & Partners advised Cosmix and its Founders on this transaction.

The transaction team was led by Swathi Ravi Girimaji (Partner, Practice Lead - VC and Growth Stage Investments).

Cosmix is a leading best-seller in the plant protein and wellness category across e-com and q-com platforms.

Marico has currently acquired 60% in Cosmix, with the remaining 40% to be acquired over a three-year period. Together, they will focus on accelerating their association journey, expanding into relevant adjacent wellness categories, and building a sustainable, profitable brand.
