Kapil Chaudhary and Sushmita Chaudhary launch Verity Law Chambers

Kapil Chaudhary and Sushmita Chaudhary have announced the launch of Verity Law Chambers, an independent chamber advising Boards, General Counsel and founders across Technology, Social Sector, Data, AI, Privacy and Corporate Governance, alongside Indian employment and labour law and commercial litigation.

Verity Law Chambers advises on Indian regulatory, law and policy aspects of AI governance and regulatory readiness; data privacy and cybersecurity; technology and platform regulation; software licensing and technology contracts; media, gaming and entertainment regulation; disputes and international arbitration; and board and fractional General Counsel advisory, alongside Indian employment and labour law, POSH compliance and investigations, and commercial litigation.

Verity Law Chambers’ launch follows Kapil’s 26 years of legal leadership spanning senior in-house roles at IBM, Autodesk, Twitter, Flutter International/Junglee Games and Info Edge (India) Limited, and most recently as Partner in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Data Privacy practice at Dentons Link Legal.

At Twitter India, he led the company’s constitutional challenge to India’s Section 69A content-blocking powers before the Supreme Court and testified before Parliamentary Standing Committees on Data Protection and Competition. He is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and an IICA-certified Independent Director — credentials that anchor the firm’s international arbitration and corporate governance advisory practice.

Sushmita Chaudhary has been at the Bar since 2002, advising multinational and Indian employers across the full range of Indian employment and labour law, and appearing in commercial litigation. She is an alumni of the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, has advised corporates on compliance and training with India’s POSH Act and acted as external adviser on POSH investigations, and appeared in various high stakes litigations.

Kapil and Sushmita serve as Co-Founders and Joint Managing Partners.
