CMS INDUSLAW act on Freehand $75 million Series B fundraise

Freehand, a San Francisco-based enterprise AI company, has raised $75 million from a Series B fundraise, co-led by Battery Ventures and NewRoad Capital Partners, with participation from PSP Growth, Nexus Venture Partners and other investors.

CMS INDUSLAW advised Freehand on this fundraise.

The transaction team consisted of Winnie Shekhar (Partner), Shantanu Singh (Partner) and Ravishankar M (Senior Associate).

Freehand develops autonomous AI agents that manage enterprise supply-chain spend, including contract enforcement, supplier management, invoice processing, payment workflows and spend reconciliation. Its platform is deployed by leading global enterprises including Meta, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Dunkin' and Cardinal Health.

The fresh capital will support the expansion of its AI platform and enterprise deployments.
