CMS INDUSLAW advises investors on Comet ₹100 crore Series B fundraise

Grails Marketing Private Limited, dba Comet, has raised ₹100 crore from a Series B fundraise led by Verlinvest, with participation from existing investors, Elevation Capital and Nexus Ventures.

CMS INDUSLAW advised Elevation Capital and Nexus Ventures on this fundraise.

The transaction team consisted of Shantanu Singh (Partner), Winnie Shekhar (Partner), Anshul Bhuwalka (Senior Associate), Associates Arnab Chakraborty and Mukul Sharma.

They were supported by the Corporate Secretarial team consisting of Ruhi Jain (Executive Director), Akshay Madhvani (Assistant Manager) and Adarsh Joshi (Assistant Manager).

The funding will support Comet’s next phase of growth, including accelerating retail expansion, strengthening product and technology capabilities and investing in research and development. The homegrown sneaker brand is targeting 20 stores by FY27 and plans to double its footwear portfolio from four to eight models.
