Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, IndusLaw, Sidley Austin act on Honasa Consumer IPO

Honasa Consumer Limited has made an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of equity shares having face value of ₹10 each, comprising a fresh issue and offer for sale, aggregating to ₹1701.4 crore.

Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, JM Financial Limited and J.P. Morgan India Private Limited acted as book running lead managers to the IPO.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as legal counsel for Honasa and the promoters, Varun Alagh and Ghazal Alagh.

The transaction team representing the Company was led by Yash Ashar (Partner and head, Capital Markets), Vijay Parthasarathi, Partner & Regional Co-Head, Markets Practice (Southern Region), Aashima Johur (Partner) and Associates Saurav Das, Vedansh Batwara, Prajna Kariappa and Harshita Tripathi.

The transaction team representing the Promoters was led by Yash Ashar (Partner & Head, Capital Markets), Rohit Tiwari (Partner) with Associate S Bindu Sravya.

Bharath Reddy (Partner), Sharada Ramachandra (Partner), Ritika Rathi (Partner) and Associates Dipti Khatri and Simran Jain also advised on certain aspects of the transactions such as employee stock option schemes and FDI analysis.

IndusLaw acted for the book running lead managers and the team included Vishal Yaduvanshi (Partner) and Associates Anshul Roy , Ayushi Tiwari , Yajunshi Tyagi, Aditya Singh , Khushi Maheshwari and Divyanshu Singh.

Sidley Austin LLP acted as International legal counsel for the book running lead managers of this IPO. Manoj Bhargava, Partner based out of Singapore office along with Carla Teodoro of New York office, Counsel Shashwat Tewary, Edward Lee and Harekrishna Ashar led this transaction.

S R Batliboi &Associates LLP acted as auditor on this IPO.
