Education Deal: DSK Legal, CAM, Trilegal act on acquisition of stake in NSPIRA by Narayana Group

Narayana Group has made a leveraged buyout of the stake held by Morgan Stanley Private Equity and Banyan Tree Capital in NSPIRA Management Services Private Limited.

The deal was valued at approximately ₹1,372.8 crore ($165 million).

The Transaction included fund raising for the leverage buy-out from certain marquee financial investors.

DSK Legal advised and assisted Narayana Group and its promoters in this deal.

The DSK Legal team by Partners Hemang Parekh and Jayesh Kothari along with Associates Pooja Khanna, Rajlaxmi Kale , Saumya Malviya , Aishwarya Kapoor , Kunal Chopra and Sharmishtha Bharde.

The DSK Legal team for the CCI advisory and approval comprised Kunal Mehra and Associates Danish Khan and Aakrit Aditya Sharma.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as the legal counsel for the Investors as well as for Banyan Tree Capital.

Trilegal acted as the legal counsel for Morgan Stanley Private Equity.
