Emerald Law Offices advises DLF Home Developers in acquisition of 28 Acre land parcel in Gurugram

DLF Home Developers Limited has made a strategic and large acquisition of a 28 Acre land parcel, inter-alia, under the SARFAESI Act & Rules from Axis Trusteeship Limited acting for the existing bond holders, in whose favour a substantial portion of these lands were mortgaged.

The transaction team consisted of Sachit Mathur (Managing Partner), Ajay Bhadu (Partner), Astha Singh Trehan (Partner), Yogendar Singh (Counsel) and Vaishnavi (Associate).

This acquisition is likely to generate a potential residential saleable area of upwards of 7.5 million at a prime location in Gurugram. Since this land parcel was owned by the IREO Group, this transaction also leads to a substantial discharge of debts of the IREO Group.
