Evonile acquires 'Minipress', 'Minipres' brands from Pfizer; Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advises

Evonile Pharma Limited has acquired the 'Minipress' and 'Minipres' brands in India from Pfizer for an aggregate consideration of approximately ₹1,250 crore.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co advised Evonile Pharma on this acquisition.

The transaction was led by Karun Prakash (Partner) and Anant Dang (Partners), along with Veena Sivaramakrishnan (Partner), J.V. Abhay (Partner), Rohan Arora (Partner), Mohit Bhatia (Partner), Devaditya Chakravarti (Counsel), Tanay Khanna (Principal Associate), Leoni Mahanta (Principal Associate), Rahul Shukla (Principal Associate), Yash Kahandole (Principal Associate), Nishal Makharia (Senior Associate), Associates Aagam Jain, Shivani Pattnaik, Arushi Tiwari, Dhruv Bhartia, Anshika Chadha and Anushka Gupta.

'Minipress' and 'Minipres' brand of medicines are alpha-blocker medication used to treat high blood pressure.
