Fox Mandal & Associates advises Rockline Entertainments in M.S. Subbulakshmi biopic

Fox Mandal & Associates has advised Rockline Entertainments on a range of legal and intellectual property matters in connection with its upcoming project based on the life and legacy of the celebrated Indian vocalist and Bharat Ratna awardee M.S. Subbulakshmi, to be played by actor Rashmika Mandanna.

The Firm advised on copyright and allied intellectual property rights and the related legal and contractual considerations. The Firm also assisted in evaluating, securing and structuring the relevant rights and negotiating as well as documenting the associated arrangements.

The engagement was led by Santosh Vikram Singh (Partner, who leads the Firm’s IP, Sports & Entertainment Law Practice), with support from Shreya Chaddha (Senior Associate).
