JSA advises Biomapas Group on acquisition of Pinnaxis

Biomapas Group, a portfolio company of Carbyne Equity Partners, has acquired Pinnaxis IT Solutions and Consulting Private Limited, a pharmacovigilance technology and consulting company.

JSA Advocates and Solicitors advised the Biomapas Group on this acquisition.

The transaction team was led by Sidharrth Shankar (Partner), and comprised Nandini Seth (Partner) and Aditya Vardhan Dayal (Partner), along with Pranav Rao N (Senior Associate), Bulbul Tiwari (Senior Associate), Associates Aditya Sinha, Aashreya Kodesia, and Rahul Nayyar, Vadi PS (Senior Company Secretary), and Eshika Phadke.

The competition law aspects were handled by Vaibhav Choukse (Partner) and Ela Bali (Partner), along with Aarathi R Menon (Associate).

Pinnaxis specialises in safety system implementation, data migration, validation, reporting and managed services across leading safety platforms in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.

The transaction involved the acquisition of 100% of the company and included a roll-over of the investment into the overseas operating company.
