Khaitan & Co advises Belding India on Evolve IT Solutions

Belding India Limited has made a 100% acquisition of Evolve IT Solutions Private Limited from its existing promoters / shareholders.

Khaitan & Co advised Belding India on this acquisition. The Firm prepared, negotiated and finalized transaction documents including share purchase agreement and deed of assignment to ensure that the transaction was closed within very strict timelines.

The transaction team consisted of Gautam Suseel (Partner), Neekesh Shetty (Counsel), Ansif Latheef (Senior Associate) and Devika Vasandani (Consultant).

Evolve is engaged, inter alia, in the business of manufacturing, assembly and sale of X-ray baggage scanners (including X-ray generators and imaging software) and dental X-Ray products and such other products providing services thereof (including maintenance services).

This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone in Belding’s vision of building one of India’s leading indigenous engineering and technology platforms.
