Khaitan & Co advises SIDBI on its investment in Digantara

SIDBI Venture Capital Limited (SIDBI) has made an investment in Digantara Research and Technologies Private Limited (Digantara), pursuant to the Series A funding round of approximately ₹100 crores ($12 million) led by SIDBI, PeakXV, Kalaari Capital, and Aditya Birla Ventures.

Khaitan & Co advised SIDBI in this investment deal. The Firm's scope of work included reviewing the legal due diligence, negotiation and finalisation of share subscription agreement, a shareholders' agreement, employment agreements for the founders and other ancillary documents relating to the transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Sanchit Agarwal (Partner), Pulkit Chaturvedi (Principal Associate) and Jubin Jay (Senior Associate).

Digantara is engaged in the business research and technology development in the space sector, focusing on development of technologies for enabling solutions for space situational awareness and space navigation, including relevant aerospace technology products, for the purposes of advancing safe and sustainable space operations.
