Another EV Deal: Khaitan Legal Associates on BAAZ Bike + Big Capital

Baaz Bikes (ElecTorq Technologies) has raised approximately ₹66.5 crore ($8 million) from its Series A fundraise in a round led by Singapore-based Big Capital, along with participation from the venture capital arm of Japan’s Rakuten Capital, and existing investors.

Khaitan Legal Associates advised Baaz Bikes on this fundraise.

The transaction team comprised Shruti Dvivedi Sodhi (Partner), Anisa Bawari (Senior Associate), Ishan Saxena (Associate) and Weindrila Sen (Associate).

Baaz Bikes is a Delhi based company building a full stack EV ecosystem catering to the gig riders. With this investment, Baaz Bikes will scale its business to bring in product innovation.
