Rajani Associates advises KGK Realty in the acquisition of Anudan Properties

KGK Realty (India) Private Limited, the real estate venture of more than a century-old KGK Group, was declared as a successful resolution applicant in the matter of Anudan Properties Private Limited by NCLT, Mumbai Bench.

Rajani Associates advised and acted for KGK Realty, the successful resolution applicant. The team's scope of work essentially included advising on the Resolution Plan and assisting the successful resolution applicant with the implementation of the resolution plan. The firm also assisted (and presently assisting) the successful resolution applicant in defending various litigation proceedings, challenging the resolution plan, before the NCLT as well as before NCLAT.

The team comprised Ashish Parwani (Partner), Rajeev Nair (Associate Partner), Gitika Makhija (Senior Associate) and S Shivganesh (Associate), with litigation support from Chintan Gandhi (Senior Associate).

Anudan Properties Private Limited is a Mumbai-based real estate company that was admitted under Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process on March 15, 2021, vide the order of the Hon'ble NCLT, Mumbai Bench.
