Agrim Law is looking to hire Associates for its Civil and Criminal litigation teams in Gurgaon.

Number of Positions: 2 (Two)

PQE: 2 years

Location: Gurgaon

Job Description

Associate - Litigation (Criminal)

Nature of work:

• Primarily trial work in PMLA and other white-collar crime matters

• Drafting pleadings, applications and written submissions

• Court appearances and conduct of proceedings

• Legal research and case preparation

• The role will involve daily appearances before the Gurgaon District Courts.

Preferred experience:

• Criminal litigation, particularly trial work

• White-collar crimes

• PMLA matters (preferred)

• Experience appearing before District Courts

Associate - Litigation (Civil)

Nature of work:

• Arbitration matters

• Civil and commercial suits and related proceedings

• Drafting pleadings, applications and written submissions

• Court/tribunal appearances, legal research and case preparation

• The role will involve frequent appearances before Gurgaon District Courts, with occasional travel to Delhi for appearances in arbitrations and before the Delhi High Court.

Preferred experience:

• Civil litigation

• Arbitration matters (Preferred)

• Good working knowledge of the CPC

• Commercial Courts Act and commercial litigation

• Experience appearing before District Courts / High Courts

• Candidates who can join at the earliest, preferably within one month, will be preferred.

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
