MetaLaw Offices LLP is looking to hire two associates in Delhi.

Number of Positions: 2 (Two)

PQE: 2-4 years

Location: New Delhi

Qualification: Law graduate

Job description

Candidate should have previous experience in the general corporate practice, with a strong focus on retail and commerce, media entertainment, real estate, health care, fintech.

The role is suitable for the lawyers who are looking to take on greater ownership, client-facing responsibility, and long-term career growth within a specialised, partner-led practice.

At this point you will be having direct exposure to partners on strategy and client positioning and increasing responsibility for matter ownership and client relationships

Role overview

You will be required to play a central role in advising clients on a wide array of corporate and regulatory matters, healthtech, edtech, fintech, FMCG, logistics, e-commerce, media & entertainment, sports & gaming, electric vehicles, automotive & mobility, infrastructure, IT, food aggregation & cloud kitchen operations, pharma & healthcare & real estate.

• You will be expected to independently manage matters with partner oversight, contribute to regulatory strategy, and act as a key point of contact for clients on day-to-day issues.

• The role involves a combination of advisory, structuring, and transactional support, requiring strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and comfort in dealing with complex regulatory frameworks.

• The successful candidate must be a self-starter, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, have strong written and oral communication skills, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements across various business and industry sectors.

• Providing day-to-day legal advisory services to the clients on corporate, commercial, and transactional matters.

• Advising clients on legal aspects of business operations, corporate structuring, and commercial transactions, ensuring alignment with applicable laws and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Managing transactions and regulatory advisory assignments end-to-end

• Interfacing directly with clients, regulators, and external stakeholders as required ensuring quality and timely delivery of work

• Contributing to the Firm’s online presence and practice growth

• The candidate is expected to demonstrate independent judgment, reliability, and accountability.

Remuneration: As per industry standards.
