Pinac Advocates & Solicitors is looking to hire an Associate

Pinac Advocates & Solicitors is looking for an Associate to join its Technology and Data Protection practice.

PQE: 2 to 3 years PQE from a tier 1 or tier 2 firm, with experience in advising clients on technology-related matters.

Location: Bengaluru / Bhubaneswar / Delhi / Remote (depending on experience)

Job Description

• Drafting and negotiating technology contracts, including SaaS, cloud, software licensing, IT outsourcing, MSAs and SLAs

• Structuring IP ownership, licensing and assignment for technology products and platforms

• Advising on the IT Act, intermediary rules, AI governance and new technology regulation

• Supporting data protection work under the DPDPA and GDPR

• Dealing directly with technology companies, both startups and established businesses

What we’re looking for:

• Strong drafting skills, commercial acumen and close attention to detail

• Comfort with commercial and technical concepts, and an interest in how technology businesses operate

• Some exposure to DPDPA / GDPR is a plus
