Shapiro & Associates Attorneys at Law, PLLC is looking to hire a Researcher and Pleadings Writer in New York.

Number of Positions: 1 (One)

PQE: 5+ years

Qualification: Member of the New York Bar

Location: Remote

Job Description

• I am a sole practitioner working almost exclusively in business and commercial litigation.

• This does not include personal injury, insurance defense, family law, torts or any other type of law other than business transactions.

• I am looking for an experienced Lawyer to do research on Westlaw or Lexus and then draft and review pleadings as well as upload documents on NYSCEF.

• This position requires analytical and writing skills as well as an understanding of corporate law.

• The responsibilities may include representing a client in court when the hearing is done remotely.

The qualifications are;

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law preferred

• Valid license to practice in New York (NJ a plus)

• Able to work independently

• Strong analytical and research skills

Remuneration: USD 52000 per annum.
