15th SILF Turf Cricket League: League stage wraps up, knockouts set to kick off on November 18
Nine more matches were played as part of the 15th edition of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Turf Cricket League on November 4 and 5.
With these nine matches, the league stage is now complete. The schedule and lineup of the knockout matches, starting from November 18, will be released next week.
The tournament is set to culminate with the finals scheduled for December 16. Matches are being hosted at two venues: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitampura.
Here is a recap of the matches played over the weekend:
1. DSK Legal beat Saikrishna Associates by 46 runs.
Lakshay Mehta of DSK Legal was named Man of the Match, with Gagan Dargan of Saikrishna Associates being named the Fighter of the Match.
2. Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan beat Khaitan & Co by 12 runs.
Anurag Kapur of Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan was named Man of the Match, with Abhimanyu Pal of Khaitan & Co being named the Fighter of the Match.
3. HSA Advocates beat C&M by 3 wickets.
Adarsh Bhardwaj of HSA Advocates was named Man of the Match, with Rizvan Rihad of C&M being named the Fighter of the Match.
4. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas beat Argus Partners by 150 runs.
Mazid Khan of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas was named Man of the Match, with Ankit Ghua of Argus Partners being named the Fighter of the Match.
5. Trilegal beat Emerald Law by 6 wickets.
Ayush Marwah of Trilegal was named Man of the Match, with Hitesh Tara of Emerald Law being named the Fighter of the Match
6. Anand & Anand beat AZB by 4 runs.
Tanuj Kumar of Anand & Anand was named Man of the Match, with Aman Raj of AZB being named the Fighter of the Match.
7. Jaitley & Bhakshi beat SKV by 7 wickets.
Vivek Chauhan of Jaitely & Bakhshi was named Man of the Match, with Varun Singh of SKV Law being named the Fighter of the Match.
8. IndusLaw beat Lall & Sethi by 183 runs.
Mahender Singh Rawat of Lall & Sethi was named Man of the Match, with Shekhar Yadav of IndusLaw being named the Fighter of the Match
9. JSA beat Wadia Ghandy & Co by 15 runs.
Ashok Kumar of JSA was named Man of the Match, with Lakshay Kumar of Wadia Ghandy & Co being named the Fighter of the Match.
