18th SILF Turf Cricket League commences with 5 weekend matches

The 18th edition of the SILF Turf Cricket League 2026 commenced with an exciting round of matches at Modern School, Barakhamba Road, over the weekend of October 2-4.

Organised by Turf Sports Management in association with the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF), this year's tournament features 32 leading law firms and legal organisations competing for the coveted championship title.

The weekend witnessed closely fought contests, convincing victories and several outstanding individual performances as teams continued their campaigns in the league.

Here is a recap of the matches played during the inaugural weekend of the league.

Match 1 - Kochhar & Co. vs Lall & Sethi

Lall & Sethi won by 4 runs

In a closely fought encounter, Lall & Sethi held their nerve to secure a narrow four-run victory over Kochhar & Co.
