453 High Court judge posts vacant: Law Ministry reply in Rajya Sabha

The reply by Law Minister Kiren Rijiju also revealed that the High Courts of Allahabad, Calcutta, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh do not have a regular Chief Justice.

Replying to a question tabled in the Rajya Sabha, the Union Ministry of Law and Justice has stated that a total of 453 posts of High Court judges are lying vacant, as of July 15, 2021.
