The tournament was played from 5-7 February at Wilson Gymkhana Ground, Marine Drive, Mumbai..In the final, ELP beat AZB by 12 runs, having set a total of 80 runs for the latter to chase..ELP’s Amit Manubarwala was awarded the Man of the Series award, while Vivek Shetty of DSK Legal won the Best Batsman award and Harsh Shah from ELP won the Best Bowler award..Rohan Shah, Managing Partner of ELP said in a press release,.“After a wait of 6 years, we have won this championship. This has been a team effort as the team played well from start to finish of the tournament. It’s good to see the popularity of this tournament increasing every year and the legal community now looks forward to this championship.”.As in the earlier years, the teams were divided into 4 groups of 4 teams each. In the group stage, ELP beat AS Dayal & Associates, ALMT Legal and Talwar Thakore & Associates to reach the semi-finals. ELP defeated Hariani & Co. in the semi-finals after scoring 92 runs batting first. ELP’s Harsh Shah and AZB’s Gautam Sahni won the Man of the Match award in their respective semi-finals..DSK Legal emerged victorious in the previous edition of the Cup, after defeating ELP in the final.
