Actor Jayaprada moves Madras High Court challenging conviction, six months' jail in ESIC dues case

Actor Jayaprada has approached the Madras High Court challenging A Magistrate court order sentencing her to six-months imprisonment for failing to pay contributions due to the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) with respect to employees working in a now defunct cinema theatre owned by her.
