The Bar Council of India (BCI) has informed that the next edition of the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) will be held on January 24, 2021. The press release issued today adds that there will be no further change of date for the conduct of the AIBE XV.
Further, the BCI has also intimated deadlines as regards the registration for the AIBE XVI. In this regard, it is informed that the online registration for AIBE XVI will start from December 26 this year and that the last date of registration will be on February 21, 2021.
The last date for payment of the exam fee would be February 23, 2021. The final date for completion of online forms is February 26, 2021 and the admit cards will be released online on March 6, 202. The Exam will be held on March, 21 2021.
"In this way, the Bar Council of India is going to hold two All India Bar Exams within a period of two months (i.e. All India Bar Exam-XV on 24th January, 2021 and All India Bar Exam-XVI on 21st March, 2021)", reads the press release.
It adds that more than 1 lakh lawyers have registered for the AIBE XV scheduled for January 24. The exam is slated to be held in about 140 centres across 50 cities.
