Centre notifies the appointment of Justice Sanju Panda as the Acting CJ of Orissa High Court

The Central government has recently notified the appointment of Justice Sanju Panda, the senior most Judge of the Orissa High Court as the Acting Chief Justice of that High Court.

Justice Panda will take charge as the Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court with effect from today (January 5, 2020) consequent to the retirement of Justice Kalpesh Satyendra Jhaveri, the current Chief Justice of the High Court. She is the first woman Judge to be appointed as the acting Chief Justice of Orissa High Court.

Justice Panda enrolled as an Advocate at the Orissa High Court in 1985 and has vast experience of 21 years in matters pertaining to Civil laws, Criminal laws, Company laws and the Constitution.
