Ascertainment of religious character of place of worship not barred under Places of Worship Act: Supreme Court observes

In what could be a crucial observation with regard to cases on the nature and character of religious structures in the country, the Supreme Court on Friday orally remarked that the Places of Worship Act, 1991 does not bar the ascertainment of the religious character of a place of worship.
