Aureus Law Partners expands presence in Mumbai with NLIU-grad Viineet V Srivastav

Aureus Law Partners set up in 2013, has recently hired Viineet V Srivastav as a Partner, to set up its office in Mumbai.

Aureus Managing Partner Abhishek Dutta commented,

“Setting up our office in Mumbai is another step towards being recognised, with a presence in the major markets of India.”

He added,

“​Viineet’s experience is significant as an experienced, trusted hand and compliments the firm’s existing practice in Delhi and Haldwani in various ways. We look forward to building upon this further in providing seamless assistance to our clients such that we continue to exceed their expectations”.

Viineet, who is a 2005 graduate from National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, has diverse experience in the areas of Infrastructure, Corporate & Commercial laws, Private Equity, Financial Services and Media & Entertainment.

He brings in a blend of advisory and industry experience on board in Aureus having worked with Legasis Partners, Castrol India Limited, ICICI Bank Limited, McDonalds and Universal Legal during his past stints.

Viineet said,

“It is an excellent as well as extremely challenging opportunity for me. We would also be actively looking at developing the Firm’s presence in Bengaluru in the coming days.”

In 2014, independent practitioner Niki Kantawala along with his team of four lawyers had joined Aureus to further enhance the firm’s IPR, dispute resolution and corporate commercial practices.

The same year the firm had also set up an office in Uttarakhand with Mukesh Agarwal.
