BCCI case: Supreme Court appoints Senior Counsel Maninder Singh as Amicus Curiae

The BCCI has moved a plea before the top court to amend its Constitution to do away with the mandatory cooling-off period between tenures of office bearers across State cricket associations and the BCCI.

The Supreme Court on Thursday appointed Senior Counsel and former Additional Solicitor General Maninder Singh as the Amicus Curiae in the case relating to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
