The Bar Council of India (BCI) has resolved to extend the last date of registration for the All India Bar Exam (AIBE) XVI till July 15, 2021..The date on which AIBE XVI would be held will be intimated later, a notification issued by BCI said. .“The date for registration for AIBE-16 is extended till July 15 2021, the rescheduled date for the AIBE 16 will be intimated soon,” the notification stated. .AIBE XVI was initially scheduled for April 25. However, in March, while declaring the results for AIBE XV, the BCI had notified that AIBE XVI had been postponed in view of COVID-19.The date for registration of AIBE XVI was also extended till April 30 at the time. Further, the date on which the exam will be held would be notified later, the AIBE website said.Later the date of registration was extended to June 15. This has now been further extended by another month by way of the present notification.
