Advocate General of Punjab, Anmol Rattan Sidhu has resigned from the post citing personal reasons. .Sidhu has been the President of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association not less than eight times. He has also served as chairperson of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, Additional Solicitor General of India, and Additional Advocate General for both the States of Punjab and Haryana.Sidhu was appointed to the post in March this year after Senior Advocate Deepinder Singh Patwalia had resigned in the wake of the change of government in the State after the Aam Aadmi Party government came to power.
