Calcutta High Court flags poor quality in drafting of petitions relating to violence during West Bengal panchayat polls

Single-judge Justice Amrita Sinha slammed the advocates for the petitioners for such poorly drafted petitions and said that lawyers cannot treat such matters casually.

The Calcutta High Court Wednesday took objection to the quality of drafting of the petitions filed before it in relation the alleged violence and malpractices during the recently concluded West Bengal panchayat elections.
