Calcutta High Court lawyers cite “heat wave” for not attending court

A recent resolution of the Calcutta High Court Bar Association evoked a strong reaction from the Chief Justice’s Bench. Yesterday, the association passed a resolution (170 against 80) stating that lawyers would not attend court due to the heat wave across the country.
