Calcutta High Court refuses urgent listing of PIL against attack on ED officers

A bench led by Chief Justice TS Sivagnanam said it had read about the petition in the newspapers and will hear the same on Thursday which is the dedicated day for hearing PILs.

The Calcutta High Court on Monday refused to grant urgent hearing to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) petition highlighting the recent attack on the officers of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Sandeshkhali area of North 24 Parganas district.
