Calcutta High Court restrains Somabrata Mandal from using trademarks of Fox & Mandal, claiming connection with firm

There appears to be an attempt by Somabrata to trade on the goodwill and reputation of Fox & Mandal, which was founded in 1896, the Bench said in its interim order.

The Calcutta High Court recently ordered Somabrata Mandal not to use the Fox & Mandal trademark or attempt to represent in public that he has any connection with the firm [Fox and Mandal v. Somabrata Mandal].
