He served as Government Advocate (2002–2004) and Deputy Advocate General (2005–2006), and was associated with Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur in various academic roles.He was appointed as an additional judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court on September 16, 2013 and was made a permanent judge on March 8, 2016.
