Chhattisgarh High Court designates 11 lawyers as Senior Advocates

12 lawyers had applied to the High Court for the senior gown, of which 11 have now been designated as Senior Advocates.

The High Court of Chhattisgarh has designated eleven lawyers as Senior Advocates.

The decision was approved by the Full Court in its meeting held on April 28, 2026. The advocates who have been conferred the gown are:

1. Shailendra Dubey

2. Ranvir Singh Marhas

3. Hamida Siddiqui

4. Yashwant Thakur

5. Anoop Majumdar

6. Neelabh Dubey

7. Amrito Das

8. Mateen Siddiqui

9. Naushina Afrin Ali

10. Arvind Shrivastava

11. Tarendra Kumar Jha

12 lawyers had submitted applications for the senior gown. The High Court had notified the same in February this year and invited suggestions and views to the proposed senior designations. The names of those conferred the senior gown were notified on May 7.
