CLAT 2015: After Bombay, Chattisgarh High Court steps in for PG candidates

Days after the Bombay High Court’s judgment, the Chattisgarh High Court has passed a similar direction, albeit for the post-graduate answer key.

Disposing of a writ petition (WPC/1025/2015) filed by one Anuradha Jain, Justice Pritinker Diwaker directed the CLAT Convenor to “expeditiously” form an expert panel, and re-examine the answers provided. The petition was filed by Jain challenging the veracity of the answer key published by RMLNLU for this year’s post-graduate examination.

While more details will be available once the judgment is out, it has been reliably learnt that the idea of forming an expert panel was mooted by the respondent as well.

Whatever the outcome, the CLAT Core Committee certainly has much to answer for.
