Collegium recommends appointment of Karnataka High Court Chief Justice PB Varale as Supreme Court judge

If his appointment is cleared by the Central government, he would be the third sitting judge of the Supreme Court from the Dalit community besides Justice BR Gavai and Justice CT Ravikumar.
