Abha Shah joins IndiaLaw as a Partner

Abha Shah has joined IndiaLaw LLP as a Partner.

Shah has over two decades of experience in Corporate and Technology, Media and Telecommunication (TMT) practice. She has worked both as an in-house counsel and an external counsel.

She has extensive experience in corporate practice. She regularly advises acquirers, investors, and promoters on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures and general corporate transactions) both inbound and out bound transactions) across a broad range of industries.

She has garnered a remarkable reputation for her commercial-legal acumen in advising, structuring, drafting, vetting and negotiating complicated agreements with respect to acquisition and licensing intellectual property rights (IPR) and complex rights disputes and matters.

She also regularly advises her clients on emerging technologies, content clearances, due diligence, data protection, cybersecurity, IT law compliance, ensuring they manage and secure their digital assets effectively.

In the past, Shah has been associated with Nishith Desai Associates and Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times of India).
