Abhinav Shukla joins Unbound as General Counsel

Abhinav Shukla, formerly Head of Legal- Venture Growth (Global) at Alpha Wave Global, has joined Unbound as General Counsel.

Shukla holds an LLB from Government Law College, Mumbai, and is a qualified Company Secretary from ICSI.

Shukla has nearly two decades of institutional investment legal experience across the US, India, Israel, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East. At Alpha Wave Global, he led the legal function for the fund's global venture growth and PE mandate, covering investment execution, portfolio governance, and exit across multiple jurisdictions and helped manage deals worth more than $ 15 Billion across different geographies.

Shukla's transactional experience spans some of the most significant deals in the Indian and global venture ecosystem, including the legal workstream for Alpha Wave's investment in OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceX, Cerebeas, Aman Properties, ESR, LLM, Haldirams, Nxtra, Oberoi Realty, Dream11 and Lenskart.

His career includes senior legal role at Kalaari Capital and prior experience with Desai & Diwanji and Reliance Capital.

On the move, Shukla said,
