

Aditya Swarup has joined Outer Temple Chambers at London as a Professional Associate, bolstering its international arbitration and commercial disputes practice.
Swarup will be called to the Bar of England & Wales in March 2026 through the Honourable Society of Inner Temple.
He has over ten years of practice as a counsel in India, where he has worked extensively on commercial arbitration, litigation and infrastructure-related disputes. He has represented clients in India and abroad, including in arbitration seated in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Paris and London under the SIAC, UNCITRAL and ICC frameworks.
His work has involved high-value shareholder disputes, securities litigation, telecom matters and major infrastructure projects for corporates and government entities.
Swarup is a Rhodes Scholar and holds a BCL and MPhil from the University of Oxford. He earlier graduated from the NALSAR University of Law.
He has also previously taught civil procedure and commercial remedies at the Jindal Global Law School.
Outer Temple Chambers has also recently re-appointed regulatory specialist Ian Johnston as a Professional Associate.
