Avijit Sharma joins Hero MotoCorp as Lead Legal - Direct Business

Avijit Sharma has joined Hero MotoCorp as Lead Legal - Direct Business.

Sharma is a 2015 graduate of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He earned his LLM in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London in 2016.

With over a decade of experience, he focuses on delivering practical legal solutions to support business growth while mitigating risks. He specializes in managing contracts, developing frameworks, and advising on operations, including human resources.

Prior to joining Hero MotoCorp, Sharma held the position of Assistant Vice President - Legal at StrideOne. In the past, he had been associated with leading organisations such as Mensa Brands and JIO.

At Hero MotoCorp, Sharma's role encompasses legal structuring, litigation management, and debt structuring/restructuring. He will also be involved end-to-end in the fund raising cycle in collaboration with compliance and finance teams.
