Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has announced the selection of Legora as its firm-wide generative AI platform.

CAM and Legora will work together on firm-wide implementation, solving use cases, automating workflows and co-developing AI-powered client solutions.

Starting in January, CAM had conducted a multi-phase pilot program involving three generative AI platforms and 380 lawyers across its offices, capturing in-depth feedback on usability, interoperability, efficiency, training, accuracy and responsiveness to real-time legal use cases.

Managing Partner Cyril Shroff shared in a press release,

“At CAM, we believe Generative AI is a foundational shift for the legal profession. Our commitment to becoming an AI-first organisation is about empowering our lawyers with intelligent tools that enhance quality, speed, and client value, while maintaining data security and client confidentiality. The decision to partner with Legora is not just about selecting a product - it is about building the future of legal services through deep collaboration, co-creation, and responsible innovation.”

As a partner actively using AI in his daily practice, Rishabh Shroff shared,

“We see AI not as a passing trend but as an essential part of the future of legal practice. Our vision at CAM is to build an AI-first organisation, where Generative AI empowers every lawyer and professional to work smarter, faster, and with greater precision. Through this partnership with Legora, we aim to integrate AI deeply into the fabric of how we deliver legal services.”

Chief Innovation Officer Komal Gupta added,

"This journey has been driven by intense collaboration, curiosity, and an unwavering commitment to responsible innovation. What sets us apart is the depth of our approach - from rigorous pilots and user-driven design to our partnership model with Legora. We are adopting a tool and we are also embedding AI into the heart of our firm to fundamentally redefine how we work and how we serve our clients."

Speaking on the partnership, Legora CEO Max Junestrand commented,

“Following a competitive and rigorous pilot period, we’re delighted to have been selected by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as the AI platform and partner of choice for firm-wide roll out. To be chosen by the market leading law firm at the forefront of AI adoption demonstrates the unrivalled value Legora delivers.

Furthermore, this represents a significant step forward for Legora as a company, as we expand into the Indian market, and we couldn't have wished for a better partner than CAM under the leadership of Mr. Cyril Shroff. Our unique strength lies in our commitment to working with lawyers to create products that solve real problems. CAM shares our belief that collaboration is the best foundation for innovation, and we’re already working with their team to embed our new market-first agentic Workflows product to orchestrate complex legal tasks. We’re excited to continue co-creating with CAM - leveraging the power of the Legora platform to help lawyers deliver even more value to their clients.”
