Maritime law specialist Hill Dickinson has hired Devottam Sengupta as a Partner at its Singapore office. .Sengupta is a 2005 graduate of National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore, and completed his LL.M. in Law & Economics from University of Manchester in 2008.He is a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and joins Hill Dickinson from Greensill Capital in Singapore. He was previously co-head of the Global Markets and Financing Legal Team at Louis Dreyfus Company.He comes with significant commodities finance and structured trade finance expertise..Sengupta's appointment closely follows the arrival of commodities dispute specialist, Iain Sharp.
