Vedanta's Sanjeev Gemawat joins Essar as Managing Director & Group General Counsel

Vedanta Group General Counsel Dr Sanjeev Gemawat has joined Essar as Managing Director & Group General Counsel.

Dr. Gemawat has over thirty years of experience in varied industries such as metals and mining, cement, sugar, automobile, real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, etc, and has been associated with Indian and multi-national corporates like Dalmia Bharat, DLF, JCB and others.

He is also a founder-member of General Counsels’ Association of India (GCAI).
