Emerald Law Offices announces promotions: Khizer A Qureshi and Abhishek Sharma made Partner

Emerald Law Offices has announced promotions, elevating Khizer A Qureshi and Abhishek Sharma to partnership.

Qureshi has nearly a decade of experience in advising domestic and international clients on M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions, commercial contracts, renewable energy and other infrastructure projects, and corporate advisory.

He also advises institutions, businesses and emerging enterprises, organisations on data protection laws and the evolving regulatory frameworks. As a key member of Emerald Law Offices’ corporate and transactional practice, Qureshi has spearheaded several marquee transactions and strategic mandates, including cross-border mergers and investments.

Sharma holds close to a decade of experience in advising and representing clients across a broad spectrum of civil, commercial, consumer, regulatory, insolvency, white-collar and real estate disputes. He has regularly been involved in complex litigation, arbitration and strategic dispute resolution.

Over the years, he has represented developers, investors, financial institutions, promoters and high-net-worth individuals before the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, arbitral tribunals, NCLT, NCDRC and RERA authorities across the country.
