Former NCLT Member V Nallasenapathy joins AK Mylsamy & Associates

V Nallasenapathy, former Member of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), has joined AK Mylsamy & Associates LLP as a Partner.

V Nallasenapathy was a member of NCLT Mumbai for five years until June 2021. He heard and decided a large number of cases on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and cases on oppression and mismanagement, shareholder disputes and schemes of amalgamation, de-mergers, restructuring, reduction of share capital etc.

He handled many important cases such as the Innoventive Industries Case, Kirusa Software Case, Veer Gurjar Aluminium Industries Case, Cyrus Investments v. Tata Sons case, the Jet Airways case etc.

On his joining the firm, Nallasenapathy said,
