Gagan Kumar has merged his practice at Krishnomics Legal with Khaitan Legal Associates. He will join the latter firm as a Partner..Kumar is an alumnus of Chaudhary Charan Singh University. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.He has extensive experience in litigation and advisory aspects of the tax practice. He has represented various corporates before the Supreme Court, High Courts, ITAT, CESTAT and Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals). He has advised a number of domestic and international companies on tax issues relating to Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Mergers and Restructurings, Tax Prosecution, Value Added Tax, Central Excise, Custom, Service Tax etc. He has advised on structuring options to various Private Equity funds.
