GSK's Disha Thakkar joins MSD as General Counsel

Disha Thakkar has joined MSD as General Counsel- Legal & Compliance for the India Subcontinent.

Thakkar is a 2006 graduate of KC Law College, Mumbai University.

She has over 18 years of diversified experience spanning law firms and in-house roles, advising on cross-border transactions, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, foreign direct investment, intellectual property rights, pharmaceutical laws, and general corporate legal matters.

Prior to joining MSD, Thakkar served as the Director Legal at GSK, where she was engaged with the legal department for nearly a decade. Her previous engagements include leading law firms and organisations such as JSA, Desai & Diwanji and Sahara India.
