ICC Deputy Counsel Akhil Chowdary Unnam joins Unnam Law Firm as Head of Disputes

During his tenure at the ICC, Unnam oversaw more than 170 complex international arbitration proceedings across various sectors.

Akhil Chowdary Unnam, the longest-serving Indian Deputy Counsel at the ICC International Court of Arbitration’s Singapore team, has joined Unnam Law Firm as the Head of its Dispute Practice.

This move brings specialized expertise in Asia-Pacific arbitrations to the firm.

Unnam began his career at the ICC International Court of Arbitration in 2018 at its Paris Headquarters before transitioning to the ICC Secretariat in Singapore, where he served for nearly six years. During his tenure, he oversaw more than 170 complex international arbitration proceedings across various sectors, earning recognition for his unique expertise in institutional arbitrations.
